1. About this Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Truework Cosmetics Limited, trading as ÉLODEE ("we", "us"), uses cookies and similar technologies on elodee-cosmetics.com (the "Website"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies? Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. Similar technologies include pixels, tags and local storage. In this Policy we call them all "cookies".

First-party cookies are set by us, through our e-commerce platform Shopify.

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser; persistent cookies stay on your device for the period shown in the table in section 3, unless you delete them earlier.
2. The cookies we use and why
We group cookies into four categories. Only strictly necessary cookies are set automatically. All other categories are switched off until you give your consent in our cookie banner.

Preferences. At present we do not use separate preference cookies beyond the strictly necessary ones above. If we add features that remember your choices, such as language or a wishlist, we will list those cookies here.
Apps we may add. We plan to add features such as live chat, product reviews, a loyalty programme and a skin questionnaire. Some of these services may set their own cookies. We will update this list before they go live, and any non-essential cookies they set will remain subject to your consent.

4. Managing your choices
You decide which optional cookies we use, and you can change your mind at any time.

Cookie banner. On your first visit, you can choose "Accept all" or "Accept only necessary". Both options are equally easy to select. Choosing "Accept only necessary" does not limit your ability to shop with us.

Cookie settings. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Your browser. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the Website, such as the basket and checkout, will not work.

Google Analytics. You can also install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Meta ads. You can manage how Meta uses your data for advertising in your Facebook ad preferences and Instagram ad settings.
We ask for your consent again after 12 months, or sooner if we make significant changes to the cookies we use.
5. Third parties, changes and contact
Third-party providers. Google and Meta process data collected through their cookies under their own terms. For analytics, Google acts as our processor. For Meta advertising, Truework Cosmetics Limited and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited are joint controllers for the collection and transmission of data through the Meta Pixel; Meta is solely responsible for its further processing. International transfers. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Such transfers are protected by an adequacy decision, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or by Standard Contractual Clauses, as described in section 7 of our Privacy Policy.
Changes. We will update this Cookie Policy when we add, remove or change cookies. The date of the latest version appears below.
